Sample preparation

  1. Disinfect finger with a tissue             
  2. Puncture finger with a lancet  
  3. Draw blood with a capillary 
  4. Mix blood with buffer

 Device preparation

  1. Switch on the device and press new measurement.
  2. Fill in Patient ID, age and gender. The test incubation timer is always on by default, but you can switch it off.

Start measurement 

  1. Add blood with buffer to test cassette
  2. Insert the cassette with the adapter into the Igloo Reader
  3. The measurement will start automatically and the device will display the incubation timer on the screen. Within 3-15 minutes (depending on the type of test) you will get the result.

Measurement Result

The measurement result with interpretation is displayed on the screen. Export or send it for printing.
